Nelson was very helpful in ironing out any of my doubts and content gaps in econs. Helped me bring my grade from a D in prelims to an A in A levels!

I am extremely grateful to Mr Nelson for his constant support, not only as a tutor but for his advice on an interpersonal level. My grades jumped from a "U" to a "B" during the span between my mid-years to my A-Levels, which can be attributed in large part to his dedicated tutoring and notes. Mr Nelson was also extremely patient and willing to explain and reiterate key Economics concepts, which gave me the confidence to persevere. In Mr Nelson you will get a tutor who is not only invested in your academics but also in you personally, and I will recommend his lessons to anyone who is struggling with Economics. :)

Would highly recommend. I was a JC student who always struggled to obtain anything more than a subpass, even after going to other tuition centers my grades were far from great. However, this tuition teacher was able to help pull my grades to a B for A levels. I would definitely recommend to any H1/H2 econ student.

Nelson has been an incredible tutor! As someone who has found group tuition ineffective Nelson has been able to accommodate needs and my studying preferences. He takes the time to consolidate materials, papers, and questions to tackle my blind spots, but has also been able to go through the questions in a concise and clear manner, explaining key areas of improvement or working on areas I'm weak at. He is also very prompt at identifying my mistakes and correcting them, and takes time to break down complex concepts for me to learn better. He is also friendly and approachable, integrating examples from the real world in his teachings to make lessons more applicable, which also prompts me to clarify my doubts with ease. All in all, Nelson is amazing and has helped pulled me from a consistent E to an B grade in the A levels in just 5 months. Thank you so much for your help!

Mr Nelson's personalised and interactive style of teaching allows students to be engaged at a level that they would not have been in class. In 2020 when I first started out with Mr Nelson, his "tell me what you know about this and why you think it works that way" approach surprised me as it forced me to think more critically, resulting in me internalising the concepts better. The effectiveness of this method was evident when I went from scoring straight Us to getting full marks for class tests and eventually a B for H1 Econs in the A Levels. I highly recommend Mr Nelson as an Econs Tutor.

The notes are concise and well written in terms of concepts of high importance. It has been very informative for my preparation for entrance exams for masters.The notes are provided free of cost. Although, I wish the source material used for preparing the notes were also mentioned at the last page, for example, Koutsoyiannis or Hal Varian. Overall, very decent. Hope my review was helpful.
