Would highly recommend. I was a JC student who always struggled to obtain anything more than a subpass, even after going to other tuition centers my grades were far from great. However, this tuition teacher was able to help pull my grades to a B for A levels. I would definitely recommend to any H1/H2 econ student.
Nelson has been an incredible tutor! As someone who has found group tuition ineffective Nelson has been able to accommodate needs and my studying preferences. Mr Nelson's personalised and interactive style of teaching allows students to be engaged at a level that they would not have been in class. In 2020 when I first started out with Mr Nelson, his "tell me what you know about this and why you think it works that way" approach surprised me as it forced me to think more critically, resulting in me internalising the concepts better. The effectiveness of this method was evident when I went from scoring straight Us to getting full marks for class tests and eventually a B for H1 Econs in the A Levels.
